BFC appoints head of showcasing

The British Fashion Council has named Narmin Mohammadi as head of showcasing, a
role which will see her working across all of its initiatives including London Fashion Week and London Collections: Men.Working alongside marketing, press and sponsorship departments, Mohammadi’s main responsibilities will include liaising closely with designers to participate both in UK and international markets through the BFC’s portfolio of showcasing opportunities, as well as delivering and developing the BFC's strategic goals.
Commenting on her appointment, Caroline Rush, CEO of British Fashion Council, said: “Narmin is an excellent addition to the BFC team. As we continue to increase the showcasing opportunities available to British designers, it was clear we needed a strong and experienced individual to oversee showcasing events and support initiatives.”
Mohammadi will report directly to Simon Ward, chief operating officer of the British Fashion Council.
