Los Angeles-based brand Rails is rapidly expanding this year. The clothing company has confirmed plans to expand its men’s offering for this upcoming season.
The SoCal company is known for its relaxed, sophisticated fashion. The brand, founded in 2007, has a full collection of womenswear, menswear, and children’s apparel. Taking the brand into a new direction, the new collection expands with an emphasis on men’s clothing. Debuting in March, the new addition will double as a lifestyle collection for Rails. The menswear is meant to be more of a focal point for the brand in the future. The collection’s aesthetic will consist of button-down shirts and neutral-colored patterns with a West Coast influence. The price range for the collection is not yet disclosed, however the brand’s clothing typically averages around 80 to 148 dollars.
The line will be available through Rail’s online website as well as at select retailers. Planet Blue, American Rag, and Nordstrom will all retail Rails clothing including the upcoming men’s offering. Menswear only accounts for approximately 5 percent of the company’s business, according to WWD. By highlighting its men’s collection, Rails is attempting to make the collection as popular as its women’s line.
