Jourdan Dunn is debuting her talents outside the world of modeling. The it girl has finally unveiled her new project with fast-fashion retailer Missguided, a highly anticipated athleisure line.
Her new line is called Lon Dunn. “I chose ath-leisure because I want women to feel sexy and comfortable at the same time. Even what I’m wearing now; it’s loose and cozy but still has those feminine elements with the slits,” said Dunn to WWD.
The pieces in the collection all have a relaxed feel, with items including mesh tops, hooded bodysuits and track suits in various colors and materials.
An accompanying campaign has been unveiled in alignment with the launch, featuring Leomie Anderson, founder of the fashion brand LAPP, songwriter Rainy Milo, photographer Braina Laviena, model Georgia Palmer, pop singer Rina Sawayama and of course Dunn herself.
Dunn already has plans for expanding the brand, and believes that Miss Guided will take her in the right direction for that growth. The model turned designer is a known sneakerhead, so there are already rumors swirling about adding that as a category.
Missguided is known for their celebrity partnerships to help boost their own credibility, and with Dunn's fame, they can be closer to household name status.
Lou Dunn x Missguided will be officially available for sale on March 11. It will be available online and at Missguided's new retail store in Westfield Stratford.
