E-commerce retailer Static Swimwear, recently gained Los Angeles locals following after their Abbot Kinney pop-up. The temporary shop was in L.A. and featured Static Swimwear’s top brands such as Beach Riot, Lee + Lani, Minimale Animale, and the collaboration line of Stone Cold Fox and Beach Riot.

The L.A. based swimwear brand has rapidly grown this year through establishing relationships with other local businesses. “We've partnered with some amazing LA based bloggers and have established relationships with amazing entrepreneurs and creatives based [locally],” said Andrea Bottiani and Sibel Pistar, founders of the brand. The duo has equated their success to their unique brand and networking creatives they have met in L.A. After wrapping up their first pop-up shop, the pair has confirmed that they will continue to expand in Southern California. Bottiani and Pistar state that their Abbot Kinney pop-up was a “huge success,” and will continue to do pop-ups all through L.A.

Although pop-ups are in the brand’s prompt future plans, there are no confirmations for a bricks-and-mortar store. “We would love to open a store in LA, although we don’t have any immediate plans to do so,” said Bottiani and Pistar. Right now, the two prefer to focus on their e-commerce shop and put all of their focus and attention on that. “Since we just launched our e-commerce shop in February, our primary goal is to provide the best customer experience through that channel,” said Bottiani and Pistar.

The brand, established since February of this year, does all of its manufacturing in Los Angeles. “All of the products on our in house line are designed by us and produced here in LA,” said Bottiani and Pistar. The made-in-L.A. brand is currently working on future projects on growing and expanding their label’s exposure. The founders use labels that have already gained large fashion followings in L.A. such as Stone Cold Fox, Lee + Lani, and Beach Riot. Their pieces range in price from 58 to 98 dollars.

Their uniquely crafted pieces reflect L.A.’s elevated, lax style with easy, vibrant pieces. Along with promoting L.A. culture with their design, the brand wants to integrate the community as well. “We want to have the most amazing assortment of product, beautiful creative imagery and a fun and user-friendly platform that integrates social media and customer interaction.”

The swimwear brand is currently beginning the design and development process for their Spring/Summer 2016 line. Along with that, the label is planning a trip to Miami fashion week and working on future collaborations.
