Steven Sertner joins Mavi denim as vice president

Premium denim company Mavi recently just added a new team member to their company. Steven Sertner was just hired on as vice president of sales for the North American division.

Sertner joins Mavi after working as vice president of sales at C&C Sport. In the past, he worked with various brands including Buffalo Jeans and Silver Jeans, which showcases some of his past experience in apparel, specifically in denim. In his new role, he will oversee the store accounts in various areas of the U.S. including the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast. At Mavi, he will be based in the New York office and will be reporting to Ardie Ulukaya, senior vice president of sales for the company.

Founded in 1991, Mavi has established itself as a high-quality, on-trend denim company. The Instanbul-based company controls their entire manufacturing process including design, production, and retail in making their jeans. For these premium jeans available both for men and women, prices range from 19.90 to 148 dollars. At the moment, Mavi has showrooms in Los ANgeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, and Atlanta. The brand continues to expand more in the U.S., and with Sertner in the new role it is likely that the line will move forward in these areas.
